I was in Jasper 2yrs ago and was able to see 'hole in a rock'. What an amazing thing to see! I would suggest that a person stick to the path provided unless you want to get acquainted with a severe case of chiggers. I didnt know something could itch that bad. Totally worth it though!!

Very VERY easy to walk to. You can take little kids with you. It is the drive down to Camp Orr that is long and steep. I would not go down that dirt steep road after heavy rain. I think the mud would be too slick.

The cook is "Nick" used to own a restaurant in Harrison. I met Rhonda , Allison and Andrew all fantastic people who add so much to the experience...I'm trying to get my great musician and artist friends to set up a week for a song writing, and instrument playing, and a painting workshop, to improve everybodies abilities....as well as for serious fans who also Love the beautiful Mt ranch country at Horse Shoe Canyon Ranch. I still need to find out how many can be accomodated and some package deals so as to plan and share. Thanks, Michael P.S. I'm considering whether( Victor )can fit at my ranch in Mt View.

I spent today on and in Falling Water creek,I've been there many times over the last twenty five years. It's never been more gourgeous than today.Plenty of water and fall foilage is a great combination.Yes,the landslides just past six-fingers falls is a huge problem for anyone coming from the south. If your heading to Richland Creek campground, you must either go through Lurton or come down that extremely rough road from Snowball. No fun either way.

A trip to Jasper must include a trip to Emma's Museum of Junk. We have been dropping by Emma's for years....since we discovered the charming town of Jasper. I never leave empty handed! Plus, Emma herself is a real jewel.

Thanks Emma...for always making Joe and I feel so welcome! Who knew when we 1st walked into your shop about 6 years ago that we would be making a lifelong friend.

Besides where else could we find a whale vertabrae, an antique rocker, assorted old tools, movies for my parents, great incense, an old suitcase (set on end it acts as my bedside table), an elk antler and too many other things to name.

Love ya babe...and see you in 2010 !
